The 40PUA2.25S is an automatic submersible vortex pump from Tsurumi's PU series, designed for raw sewage, wastewater, and liquids carrying solid matters. Rated at 0.25 kW with a 40 mm discharge bore, this single-phase model features a vortex impeller made of glass-fiber reinforced PPO providing practically unchokable operation in sewage pumping. The pump is constructed from resin and 304 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion-resistance. Liquid paraffin is used as the lubricating oil, making it safe for use in fishponds, aquaculture, and other water-sensitive applications. This automatic model is equipped with a float switch for automatic start/stop operation, a miniature thermal protector embedded in the motor winding, dual mechanical seals (Upper: Ceramic + Carbon, Lower: SiC + Ceramic) with an oil lifter, and an anti-wicking cable entry system. The discharge connection is a threaded oval flange. This 50 Hz unit delivers dependable automatic wastewater transfer for a wide range of applications.
