The Grundfos SEV range is a series of submersible wastewater pumps built for the toughest jobs handling raw unscreened sewage, process water and solids-heavy wastewater across municipal, utility, industrial and commercial sites. At the heart of every SEV pump is the SuperVortex impeller, which allows free passage of solids up to 100 mm and makes the range ideal for intermittent-duty applications and liquids with high dry-solids or fibre content.
SEV pumps run from roughly 1.1 kW to 11 kW and can be installed submerged or dry, vertically or horizontally, without the need for an external motor-cooling jacket. A cartridge-style shaft seal keeps servicing simple. Browse the full SEV line-up below, or call our pump team on (08) 6384 5884 to match a model to your flow, head and site conditions.

View full detailsThe SEV is part of Grundfos' award-winning SE wastewater range. The defining feature is the SuperVortex (free-flow) impeller, which keeps the solids path clear and resists clogging from rags, fibres and gassy sludge. That makes it a strong choice for sewage lift stations, stormwater, effluent transfer and industrial process water.
Both share the same heavy-duty SE platform; the difference is the impeller:
If your station runs in short bursts and the liquid is dirty, the SEV is usually the right call. If it runs continuously and energy cost over time matters most, look at SE1.
Tell us three things and we'll size it for you: (1) the flow rate you need (L/s or m³/h), (2) the total head the pump must lift against (metres), and (3) what you're pumping and the largest solid that must pass. From there the model code points to size and power e.g. SEV.80.80.40 is an 80 mm inlet / 80 mm outlet / 4.0 kW unit.
Some SEV sizes have been superseded by newer Grundfos models. If you're replacing an existing SEV, give us the full part number from the nameplate (e.g. SEV.80.80.40.4.50B, No. 96047489) and we'll confirm the correct current equivalent.
