The Signal SD-ULS10 Ultrasonic Level Sensor is a non-contact fluid level monitoring device designed for integration with Signal SDS Series Two-Wire Irrigation Controllers. Mounted above the fluid surface, the SD-ULS10 uses ultrasonic technology to measure water or liquid levels in tanks, reservoirs, sumps, and similar storage systems without direct contact with the liquid. When connected through a compatible Signal DataNode, level information can be transmitted to the SDS controller and SignalCloud™ for live monitoring, automation, alarms, and pump protection. The sensor is well suited to irrigation, rainwater harvesting, bore water, and fertigation applications where reliable high- and low-level control is required.
Suitable Applications
- Irrigation tank and reservoir level monitoring
- Sump water level monitoring
- Pump dry-run protection
- Automatic pump start and stop control
- Low-level irrigation shutdown
- High-level tank and overflow alerts
- Rainwater harvesting systems
- Bore water storage tanks
- Fertigation and chemical solution reservoirs
- Agricultural water storage systems
- Commercial landscape irrigation systems
- Remote tank monitoring through compatible SignalCloud™ systems
