Installation Requirements

• A compatible Signal SDS-50 or SDS-100 irrigation controller is required.
• A compatible 4G mobile data SIM must be installed and activated before remote communications can be established.
• A Telstra-compatible data SIM is recommended for supported Australian installations.
• A minimum data allowance of approximately 100 MB per month is recommended.
• A suitable external antenna is required and is not included with the modem.
• When the modem is installed inside a metal electrical cabinet, the antenna should be positioned externally to provide suitable mobile signal strength.
• Mobile network availability and signal strength should be confirmed at the installation site before commissioning.
