Installation Note
The manufacturer’s installation and maintenance manual specifies a maximum operating speed of 400 rpm for the molasses feed pumping unit. Molasses should be able to flow before pumping, and a suction-pipe heat trace is recommended when molasses temperature is above 20°C.
