MATelec Australia’s HydroSTART PRO Controller is the flagship dual pump controller in the Australian Market. Designed for the professional, this controller features the highest quality enclosure, premium Schneider switchgear, intuitive capacitive touch keypad and Matelec Australia’s Market Leading HydroSTART Pro Control module.

The unit comes complete with pump current sensing and a wide range of electronic overload protection for both single and three phase pumps. A full suite of control inputs and functionality has been incorporated into the design to enhance the controller’s flexibility and cover an even wider range of pumping applications.

Functions

• Level control mode – Level empty operation controlled by up to 5 float switches
• Pressure control mode – Pressure boost operation controlled by up to 3 pressure switches
• Duty sharing and alternation – Alternates on pump start and after set run times
• Staggered pump start – Prevents excessive current draw and reduces water surge
• Manual pump control – Manual mode with optional timeout
• System enable input – Enables/disables system in auto mode
• Static duty mode – No duty alternation
• Smart chirp mode alarms – Audible alarm silences after 5 minutes, chirps every 5 minutes

Fault Protection

• High level alarm – Delayed alarm with auto/manual reset depending on mode
• Low level protection – Shuts down pumps, manual reset only
• Low pressure protection – Shuts down pumps if input closed for 60 seconds
• Prime loss protection – Shuts down pumps if no flow for 30 seconds
• Pump anti-seize protection – Runs pumps periodically during low use
• Pump current sensing – Adjustable overload, undercurrent and zero current protection
