Installation Considerations
- A strong and reliable 2.4 GHz WiFi signal should be available at the controller location before installation.
- The SD-WF should not be installed where a metal electrical enclosure significantly blocks or weakens the wireless signal.
- For controllers installed inside metal cabinets or other shielded environments, a Signal SD-MD 4G modem or compatible Ethernet connection should be considered instead.
- Local network availability, wireless signal strength, and internet access should be confirmed before commissioning SignalCloud™ remote services.
