Installation & Pre-Charge:

• Ensure all water pressure is released before installation or maintenance
• Pre-charge should be set 15 kPa (2 psi) below cut-in pressure for pressure switch controlled pumps
• Install in a covered, dry position and allow access for maintenance
• Thread seal tape recommended; do not overtighten fittings

Warnings & Cautions:

• Do not exceed maximum tank pressure rating; install a pressure relief valve if necessary
• Never over-charge the tank; use air at ambient temperature only
• Inspect for damage or leaks before and during air replenishment
• If diaphragm fails, the whole tank must be replaced (non-serviceable)

Troubleshooting Tips:

• Rapid pump cycling or decreased draw-off may indicate loss of air charge or punctured diaphragm
• Check pressure switch and pre-charge if water flow stops unexpectedly
• Ensure valves and piping are leak-free
