Grundfos SP 7-3 is a stainless-steel submersible borehole pump designed for pumping clean groundwater. It can be installed vertically or horizontally and is built with high corrosion resistance using stainless steel (EN 1.4301 / AISI 304). This pump carries drinking water approval and is fitted with a 0.55 kW MS402 motor.
The motor is a canned-type submersible motor offering good mechanical stability and high efficiency. It includes a sand shield, lip seal, water-lubricated journal bearings, and a volume compensating diaphragm. Suitable for liquid temperatures up to 40Â °C. The motor is not fitted with a temperature sensor; if temperature monitoring is required, a Pt1000 sensor can be fitted. Motor is for direct-on-line (DOL) starting.
