The Tsurumi LB-480A Dewatering Pump is a dewatering pump used for general purposes. Likewise the LB-Series, it is single-phase, lightweight, and a compact dewatering pump. Its slim design allows it to fit within an 8 inch casing. The LB-480A uses a semi-vortex design which allows it to keep the original pump performance for a long time, even if the impeller is worn. The discharge direction can be set to either top or horizontal which avoids the discharge hose from bending or kinking. The automatic model comes with a level control unit with a timer that prevents malfunction from rough water surfaces.
1. Auto Relay Switch: activates when water contacts the electrodes located at the bottom of the relay. After water removes contact from the electrodes, pump will run for a minute, afterward shuts off until water contacts relay electrodes again.
2. Long Lasting Performance: the dual Silicon Carbide mechanical seal faces and urethane impeller with wear plates exhibit dependable and long lasting performance.
3. Top Discharge: designed for optimum water cooling of the motor, provides efficient continuous duty operation at minimal liquid levels and prolonged ability to run dry.
