Grundfos SEG.40.26.EX.2.50B Submersible Pumps 96075914

Grundfos SEG are submersible water pumps with a horizontal discharge outlet. They are significantly developed for the pressurized transport of wastewater, particularly from toilets. The SEG pumps have a grinder system which enables the pump to handle and transport solid waste with small diameter pipes. 

To avoid the adhesion of dirt and other impurities, the surface of the Grundfos SEG pump is smooth. These pumps are made mostly of cast iron. The stainless steel used for the clamp securing the pump motor ensures the pump stays corrosion-free and simplifies servicing. The power cable to the pump has the dual function of serving as power supply as well as housing thermal sensor wires for the motor. The thermal wires are encased in a breathable cable and the pump has a plug connection. The sealed plug connection will help prevent moisture from entering the pump in case of cable fractures, adverse weather, or handling. 

The pump must be connected to an external device and a barrier in safe zone, an LC-Ex4, will be used with the pump and controlled by Grundfos A/S. 

VTT has certified the pump with the ATEX Directive.
