Grundfos SEG.40.12.EX.2.50B Submersible Pumps 96075906
SEG units by Grundfos are submersible pumps with a side outlet used for toilets for pressurized pumping of waste water. They are equipped with a grinder system with the ability of grinding solids and pumping them through a small diameter pipe. The discharge side of the pump is horizontal.
The main case of the pump is made of cast iron while the clamp attaching the motor to the pump housing is made of stainless steel. The surface of the pump s smooth which helps in avoiding the corrosion build up. Further, the pump is equipped with a power cord which is also a sensor for the thermal sensors for the motor. The plug system allows a total seal plug to ensure the pump is safe from moisture in the case of a breakage or poorly handled cabling.
The pump must be connected to a controller together with an intrinsically safe barrier e.g. LC-Ex4 supported by Grundfos A/S.
VTT has approved the pump as per the ATEX Directive.
